The Cowboys
The Final Gathering
The Mesa T Ranch is currently running two stallions: Hickory San Cody and Leo Blue Hancock. Both stallions can be found on the "Stallions" web page with pictures and pedigrees. In choosing our stallions, we looked for a good using horse that is above average in agility, disposition, and cow work, plus the added bonus of color. Cody is a 1998 gray stallion with foundation and cutting bloodlines. Cody stamps his foals with a gentle disposition and good bone. Blue is a grandson of Blue Valentine with Leo Hancock Hayes, Blue Valentine, Rip Rip, and Hancocks Blue Boy all on his papers, and he has that beautiful cowboy color. Blue is homozygous black, meaning that under no circumstances will he foal a sorrel, chestnut, or palomino. In addition, he has been a 100% roan producer on solid mares. Foals can be found on the "Sale Barn" page.
